IMPACTING HOUSTON

IMPACTING HOUSTON, Inc., formally Sure Thing Inc. is a 501c3 organization established in 1996 as a beacon of light in the underserved Northeast Community in Houston known asSettegast.  Since then we have been dedicated to providing leadership training programs for at risk youth, after school activities, educational field trips, exposure to cultural events and team building activities.   Our efforts have moved outside of just the community of Settegast and have had positive rippling affects throughout the State of Texas.

We serve youth between the age 5-18 and provide age-appropriate activities for all.

IMPACTING HOUSTON provides a litany of additional activities, some of which include one and two-day workshops that focus on leadership, HIV/AIDS education and substance abuse.  We sponsor Youth Summits, Basketball Tournaments, Town Hall Meetings, Voter Registration Drives and an annual road trip that highlight the nation’s finest College Universities.
